BIC® Soleil® Swim Angels
A super opportunity for veteran triathletes and/or veteran swimmers to support other women giving it a “TRI”, many for the first timel.
Each Swim Angel will receive
- Logo’d BIC® Soleil® Swim Angel ™ swim cap
- Logo’d souvenir BIC® Soleil® Swim Angel™ tech tank shirt
- The eternal gratitude of those you support
Swim Angel Responsibilities
- The Swim Angel program, sponsored by BIC® Soleil®, is made up of women "guides" offering encouragement and providing a calming presence to women who may experience anxiety in the water
- BIC® Soleil® Swim Angels swim alongside participants, and when necessary, secure help from water safety personnel. A significant number of water safety personnel are present at each Race
- BIC® Soleil® Swim Angels are NOT expected to provide lifeguard-type assistance to participants
- BIC® Soleil® Swim Angels will be in the water for approx. 30-45 minute intervals

What You Need to Bring
- A wetsuit, goggles and fins are optional
- A towel
- Dry clothes to change into
- A gear bag to store your gear
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun
- A big smile, gentle spirit and great attitude
About Ardis Bow
Ardis Bow is the National Coordinator of the BIC® Soleil® Swim Angel™ program. She has completed over 150 Triathlons, Marathons and Ultra Marathons around the world including more than 15 Ironman® Triathlons and Ironman® distance races. Her background in multi-sport competition is extensive with numerous Ironman Triathlon finishes placing in the top 10 women. Ardis has served as the National Coordinator of swim support programs for over 10 years.
